Our History
It all started at the age of nine when Co-Founder David De Paz began DJing at his father’s bar on the southside of San Antonio. There, David discovered his love for music and a passion for making people happy, which would eventually evolve into a lifelong dedication to creating memorable experiences.
After years of working in various music venues and alongside different companies, David and his long-time friend Luis recognized a unique opportunity in San Antonio and South Texas. They saw a need for an event production company that embraced innovation and focused on crafting immersive, dynamic sensory experiences. In 2014, David and Luis joined forces to create AVOS Productions, a company born from their shared vision to transform the event industry.
Our Philosophy
AVOS Productions is the culmination of two like-minded individuals who complement and off-set each other perfectly. Luis and David both share a worldview of a greater society in which cooperation and communitarianism are the foundation.
We are a family business and we believe strongly in the idea of family. Although not related by blood, Luis and David are such close friends that they are to each other, brothers. In our ideas and in the way we treat our clients and colleagues, we extend that same concept to everyone we meet. Our philosophy is that family is not only who you are related to, but who you share a common goal and vision with, and who you treat with loyalty, respect, and love. Our fundamental belief is that we are all in this together, that we are all one.

Luis Plascencia
Co-Founder & Marketing Manager
Luis was born in Laredo, Texas, and relocated to San Antonio after high school to pursue his college education. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The University of Texas at San Antonio and has over a decade of experience in design and audio/visual production. With a strong background in events and marketing, Luis brings a wealth of expertise to our family business and has played a pivotal role in shaping our vision and driving our inspiration.
David De Paz
Co-Founder & Operations Manager
David, a proud native of San Antonio, has spent most of his life in the city he loves. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin and brings over twenty years of experience in the music industry. David’s journey began early—at just nine years old, he started DJing alongside his brother at his father’s bar. This early introduction sparked a lifelong passion for music and a deep desire to bring joy to others.
